There is only one reason I keep an eye on London Fashion Week and it is called Prorsum, Burberry Prorsum. And this season, my expectations have been fulfilled, Ive found a little issue with the jackets though, which one to choose?
Solo hay una razón por la que me da por ojear la semana de la moda de Londres y se llama Prorsum, Burberry Prorsum. Y esta temporada mis expectativas se han cumplido, solo encontré un pequeño problemita.... con que chaqueta quedarse.
I dont have much to say about the other shows. Like Hadley Freeman from style quoted to claim that a 26-year-old designer has gone back to his roots would sound like describing a dress as vintage because you bought it last year. But Henry Holland came back to the slogan t-shirts that made him so talked about around 2006. Matthew Williamson's muse must have grown up because he opened the show with a tweed short jacket matching a dress... but when people were already thinking they were in the wrong show, the bright silk-lover showed us what he got us used to, more of the same. And just like in NY, more celebs clothing. This time was Sienna Miller and that other girl who's name Im not able to remember, let alone write correctly with Twenty8Twelve. Good thing about this? Using a celebrity as a designer is purely commercial, therefore clothes are pretty wearable. No tengo mucho más que decir del resto de desfiles. Tal y como apuntaba H. La musa de Matthew Williamson se está haciendo mayor -que no vieja- porque abrió el desfile con una chaqueta de tweed a juego con un vestido. Y cuando la gente empezaba a preguntarse si se habrían equivocado de desfile, el amante de la seda y los colores brillantes nos enseñó aquello a lo que nos tiene acostumbrados, más de lo mismo. Al igual que en NY, más ropa de celebrities. En este caso Sienna Miller y esta otra chica, cuyo nombre no recuerdo y ni mucho menos puedo escribir, con Twenty8twelve -fácil fácil- Lo bueno de este tipo de colecciones es que son muy comerciales y por tanto la ropa es bastante ponible.
