Models Streetstyle Vol. II

So here is the second part of this section!! An overview of the lastest outfits of the models Karmen Pendaru and Maryna Linchuk that we could spot in the last fashion weeks. I tried to identify the pieces the girls wear the most, some are the exact same ones, others just the main idea. Karmen is one my favourites, although they both have a great style. Which outfits you like better? Maryna or Karmen? More cooming soon!
Os traigo la segunda parte de esta sección! Un repaso a los últimos conjuntos de las modelos Karmen Pendaru y Maryna Linchuk que pudimos ver en los últimas semanas de la moda. He intentado identificar las piezas que más llevan, algunas son exactas y otras una idea aproximada. Karmen es una de mis favoritas, aunque las dos tienen un estilo increíble. ¿Qué conjuntos quedan mejor? ¿Con que chica os quedáis? Pronto pondré más!!

Model of the Moment: Karlie Kloss

I was meant to write about this rising star some weeks ago, but I didnt find the time. Just found it :P, reasons why she is for me the model of the moment? Easy: in the very first week of the new year, this american teen -she was born in 92- already scored 2 Vogue Italy covers, Dior and Hermes campaigns. She has walked for the best designers the last season -52 or 56 shows if I remember well- and currently she appears in Vogue Korea February, Wintour loves her to jump around her editorials every now and then and she is walking haute couture shows. Ive already seen her in Dior, Gaultier and Armani but Im hoping to see her in so many more, not only fashion shows but magazines. Best luck to you little girl!

Hace un tiempo que pretendía escribir sobre Karlie pero nunca encontraba el momento. Ya tocaba :P Las razones por las que es mi modelo del momento son sencillas: en la primera semana de este año nuevo, esta teen del país de la coca cola -eeuu, 1992- ya había conseguido 2 portadas de Vogue Italia, y las campañas de Dior y Hermes. En la última temporada desfiló para los mejores diseñadores -52 o 56 desfiles si no recuerdo mal- y actualmente aparece en el número de Vogue Korea de este mes, Wintour la tiene dando saltitos en sus editoriales habitualmente y está desfilando en la alta costura. Ya la he visto en Dior, Gaultier y Armani pero espero sinceramente verla en muchos más, y no solo desfiles sino también revistas. Mucha suerte peque!

Chanel Loves Chanel... so do we!

I got a nice surprise in my mailbox this morning, an email from Chanel -la maisson, not the model- refering to the Haute Couture Show... which remainded me all the shows I havent seen yet, except a few images on the breaking news... anyway I do have a lot to watch! buuuut till then, Im happy with some backstage pictures that gives us an idea of the hair and make up at least. Having a quick look at then, I found out Chanel -the model- has a deep love for Chanel - la maisson- so does Lara Stone... so does everybody, really who doesnt? Whats the first thing you would buy if you had money enough for a 2.55? Id buy a 2.55 ofc... just not red but black.

Esta mañana tenía una agradable sorpresa en mi correo, un email de Chanel -de la casa, no la modelo- haciendo referencia a su desfile de alta costura... lo que me recuerda la cantidad de desfiles que me estoy perdiendo y no he tenido oportunidad de ver aún, quitando algunas imágenes (visto y no visto) de las noticias en la tele. Hasta entonces supongo que me conformo con ver algunas fotos del backstage, que a veces me gustan más que algunos shows y nos dan una vaga idea de como será el pelo o el maquillaje. Echándo un vistazo rápido me ha llamado la atención que Chanel -la modelo- adora a Chanel -la casa- y Lara Stone también... bueno y supongo que todo el mundo, en serio ¿quién no? Si tuvieras dinero suficiente para comprarte un 2.55, ¿Qué es lo primero que te comprarías? Yo un 2.55... pero no en rojo sino en nergo.

Got me in a better mood for my exam!

Models Streetstyle Vol. I

I thought I could do a new section to analyse how they dress. Im a little bit obsessed with streetstyle pictures, specially models ones because they are like fashion insiders, so they know how to do it and I just love them. Some of them have a very unique style like Sasha or Abbey that might not be easy for us to copy inspire ourselves, but most of them keep it simple and have an amazing sense of style like -and this is just my personal opinion- Hanne Gaby -I love when she gets a bit grunge- Natasha, Chanel, Magdalena, Frida, Karmen and a loooong etc. Some others were just born with a 6th sense -for fashion ofc- like Dree and everything they wear, whatever it is, suits them so well. However Id rather focus on the girls who can actually inspire us for casual looks to go to college or to hang out with friends anytime. Here are some example with the key pieces models usually wear. Easy to wear, easy to copy!

He pensado en hacer una sección para analizar como se visten. Estoy algo obsesionadilla con las fotos de streetstyle, especialmente las de modelos porque realmene ellas están dentro del mundo de la moda, tienen ese know-how, y me encantan. Algunas tiene un estilo muy único como Sasha o Abbey que no sería de lo mas sencillo para copiárselo inspirarnos, pero la mayoría son más sencillitas y tiene un sentido increíble de la moda como por ejemplo Hanne Gaby - me encanta con su toque grunge- Natasha, Chanel, Magdalena, Frida Karmen y un largo etc. Otras simplemente nacieron con sexto sentido -para la moda se entiende- como Dree y todo lo que se ponen les queda bien. Sin embargo prefería que nos centraramos en las chicas que realmente puden inspirarnos en looks más casuales para ir a la universidad o a tomar algo por ahí con unos amigos. Aquí os dejo algunos ejemplos con las piezas clave que ellas siempre suelen llevar. Fácil de llevar, fácil de copiar!... si la que no viste bien... es porque no quiere :P
