Plein Soleil

Last days of summer in the city for me. It feels like a countdown since in a week I'll land in Paris for a fresh start this course. Im spending most of my days in the beach, lying down or having long walks across the boulevard and I also enjoyed some sailing days. To be honest, it doesnt really matter what, but always near the beach and with my boy, probably the two I'll miss the most when Im gone. I find this amazing editorial so inspiring, peaceful but full of joy at the same time... and I can really relate to it.

Últimos dias de verano en la ciudad para mi. Parece una cuenta atrás ya que solo me queda una semana antes de aterrizar en París para comenzar un nuevo curso allí. Aprovecho el poco tiempo que me queda en la playa, de relax o de paseo y café en el paseo marítimo, aunque tuve la suerte de poder disfrutar unos días de barquito. Sinceramente, me da un poco igual lo que se haga mientras sea cerca del mar y de mi chico, que son probablemente los dos que más voy a extrañar cuando me vaya. Un precioso edito con el que identificarse estos días... tranquilo pero a la vez lleno de vida.

Fall Winter Trends 10-11: The Aviator Jacket

London, February 23, 2010. Burberry Prorsum fashion show. It happened just like that. Christopher Bailey brought the classic back and there comes the drama. The drama is not that the aviator jacket is back, its not that it took over every magazine and blog either, the very big problem is which one to choose? Because you know you want one, you know its the must-have of this season and you know you might hurt someone if you dont get yours. Don't panic, the best thing about the it pieces of the seasons is that every single store makes its own version of it.

Londres, 23 de febrero de 2010. Desfile de Burberry Prorsum. Así fue. Christopher Bailey trajo el clasico de vuelta y con él, el gran dilema. El problema no es que la chaqueta aviador haya vuelto, tampoco es que la chaqueta aviador se haya apoderado de todas y cada una de las revistas e incluso blogs, el verdadero problema es ¿con cuál me quedo? Porque tu sabes que quieres una, tu sabes que el must-have de la temporada y tu sabes que podrías herir a alguien en caso de no conseguir la tuya. Que no cunda el pánico, si algo bueno tienen las prendas it de la temporada es que no habrá tienda que se resista a copiarla.

Ha sido criticada por no vestir de acuerdo con su edad (17), pero creo que nadie puede negar el increíble sentido de la moda que tiene Frida. Las gafas y su precioso Miu Miu Bow Satchel - el mio sigue en la oficina de correos, malditos puentes festivos ¬¬'- le dan el toque moderno.

Summer Inspiration: Made in Spain

This morning, while I was having breakfast, I saw Alma Aguilar's spring summer show on tv and I remembered how amazing her collection inspired in the India was. I have less than a month of summer to enjoy and my inspiration to dress always come from the big international brands such Chloé, Givenchy etc, I guess like any other girl who likes fashion and catchs up with it. So I thought I should open my mind a bit and have a look again at the collections of the amazing spanish designers for a change and to inspire me for the rest of the month. I have to add Im very proud of my choices ^.^ Esta mañana, mientras desayunaba, estaban echando en la tele el desfile de Alma Aguilar de primavera verano y me vino a la mente lo maravillosa que era esa colección con aires de la India. Me queda menos de un mes de verano y creo que a todas la inspiración siempre nos viene -queramos o no- de las grandes firmas como Chloé o Givenchy entre otras muchas -Gracias a Amancio- Así que he pensado que por una vez podía volver a ojear las pasadas colecciones de primavera verano de nuestros diseñadores, que como talento no les falta, seguro que me da para inspirarme un poco más el resto del mes. Añado lo orgullosa que me siento de mis elecciones ^.^

Blouse + Shorts. This is probably my favourite look in summer. So comfortable and effortless chic. Blusa+Pantalón corto. Es probablemente mi look favorito en verano. Muy cómodo y sencillo, y aun así muy chic.

Floral Print. Something I dont see myself in -yet- but really trendy. It suits for long and short dresses aswell. Estampado floral. Algo en lo que todavía no me acostumbro a verme pero que se lleva mucho. Queda bien tanto en vestido largo como en el corto.

High waisted pants. I have obsession for them, specially for the long ones. The short pants are gorgeous if you have the right body, so retro. Pantalones de cintura alta. Tengo una ligera obsesión con ellos, especialmente con los largos. Los cortos creo que son ideales si tienes el cuerpo adecuado, muy retro.

Print+asymmetric, key words for the perfect dress this summer. Estampado+Asimétrico, las plabaras clave para el vestido perfecto este verano.



Colorful. Mix and win. Colorido. Mezcla y vencerás.



Bikinis go retro. Los bikinis se vuelven retro.



Minimalism. They were right when they said less is more. I love the jumpsuits. Minimalismo. No se equivocaban cuando dijeron que menos es más. Me encantan esos monos.

From nude to pale pink. There is a wide range of colours to explore. Desde el maquillaje al rosa palo. Hay una amplía gama de colores aun por explorar.



And yes.... more pants! Im in love with the bag btw. Si, más pantalones! Y me encanta ese bolso por cierto.
