Shopping day

Isn't it great when you find a new store in your town? Well it was my mum, anyway we found a treasure... expensive and bad for any visa's health, but still a treasure. I got two gorgeous dresses, one by Tony Cohen and another one by Malene Birger. First one wasnt new for me because I know he has a show in New York Fashion Week, the second designer I had no idea of, but Ive been doing some research and I love it! Its an amazing brand, young, dynamic and really stylish. She also shows her stuff in Copenhagen Fashion Week. Here is what I got

Now my card is seriously damaged I have to come back to Zara. Good news? This season is still full of well-known designers clons. Bad news? Somebody thought the Chanel clogs would be great to copy aswell. Bad bad idea... I know I'll ended up trying them just to laugh about them, but I do hate them... and I feel a little bit like Carrie at SATC when Stanford says "She used to wear clogs when I met her" because I wore them too when I was like 14 ... but I digress, I think they are ugly, unconfortable and always seems a tacky shoe imo. What do you think CLOGS: FRIEND OR FOE?

Edit: I've just tried them at Zara and Ive fell in the changing room without even walking like literally... i were about to broke my ankle... FOE FOE FOE! In my defense I have to say Im pretty good walkign with heels.

Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week FW2010

Lets get to the point. There hasnt been much of vip in the front row, but who cares? The important ones were on the runway! Our spanish girls, Marina Perez and Sheila Márquez and our boy, Jon Kortajarena rocked the runway with international models such as Iris Strubegger -new Tisci's muse, imo -, Eniko Mihalik or Vincent Lacrocq. Ana Locking was my favourite one, so bright and colorful. Andrés Sardá in charge of the sexy touch, as always and Roberto Verino reminded me of big shows in Paris, great scene and great models. However it was José Miró who got the huge applause.

Vamos al grano. No había mucho vip suelto por el front row, pero ¿a quién le importa? Este año hemos contando con modelos de lujo. Nuestras chicas, Marina Perez y Sheila Márquez, y nuestro J. Kortajarena brillaron en la pasarela con estrellas internacionales como Iris Strubegger -Musa de Tisci-, Eniko Mihalik o Vincent Lacrocq. Ana Locking fue mi favorita. Andrés Sardá puso el toque sexy, como siempre y Roberto Verino me recordó a los grandes shows de París, genial la puesta en escena y las modelos. Sin embargo, fue José Miró quien se llevó la ovación.

Black made its appearance in almost every single show. You might not appreciate it here, but Alvarado make up was amazing, imitating aviator glasses. The blogger Amlul showed up at her friend mum' show, at Lydia Delgado. Major and gorgeus dresses at Hannibal Laguna. El negro estuvo presente en casi todas las colecciones. No se aprecia en esta foto, pero el maquillaje de Alvarado imitando gafas de aviador me encantó. Pudimos ver a Gala González desfilando para la madre de su amiga, en Lydia Delgado. También pudimos ver el vestido que lució Paz Vega en los goya, en la impecable colección de Hannibal Laguna.

I totally loved Devota&Lomba, so fresh, colorful and some wearable pieces. Cute nerd glasses at Jesús del Pozo.... and judge yourself whats left! Me encantó Devota&Lomba, lleno de colorido y bastantes cosas ponibles. Super monas las gafas de Jesus del Pozo... y el resto ya judgaz vosotros

Watch Out for London, Milano and Paris!

New York Fashion Week FW2010

Above: two awesome collections that deserve a collage by theirselves. Im amazed with Proenza's prints and still a bit shocked about those velvet (?) sunglasses of Wang.
Below: a mix of looks that I loved straight from the new yorker runway. I have to say Hervé Leger dresses are gorgeous, Vera Wang is so charming, really liked Jil Stuart... and celebrities collections were a bit dissapointing, as well as Marc. I was expecting a bit more. By the way I just dont understand why Olsen twins want us to wear sandals with a coat for the cold cold winter. Any idea anyone? Nevermind. Here are my personal choices.

Arriba: dos colecciones increíbles que se merecen un collage por separado. Me fascinan los estampados de Proenza y sigo algo en shock con las gafas de terciopelo (creo) de A. Wang

Abajo: Una mezcla de los conjuntos que más me han gustado recién traidos de la pasarela neoyorkina. Los vestidos de Hervé L. son impresionantes, Vera Wang no pierde su encanto, me gustó bastante Jil Stuart... y las colecciones de las celebs fueron un poco bastante decepcionantes, así como Marc. Me esperaba algo más. Por cierto no entiendo muy bien por qué las Olsen pretenden que llevemos sandalias con abrigos de invierno, ¿alguna sugerencia/idea? XD Aquí os dejo mis looks elegidos.

So here is the second part of this section!! An overview of the lastest outfits of the models Karmen Pendaru and Maryna Linchuk that we could spot in the last fashion weeks. I tried to identify the pieces the girls wear the most, some are the exact same ones, others just the main idea. Karmen is one my favourites, although they both have a great style. Which outfits you like better? Maryna or Karmen? More cooming soon!
Os traigo la segunda parte de esta sección! Un repaso a los últimos conjuntos de las modelos Karmen Pendaru y Maryna Linchuk que pudimos ver en los últimas semanas de la moda. He intentado identificar las piezas que más llevan, algunas son exactas y otras una idea aproximada. Karmen es una de mis favoritas, aunque las dos tienen un estilo increíble. ¿Qué conjuntos quedan mejor? ¿Con que chica os quedáis? Pronto pondré más!!

My Space

She isn't one of my favourites models, but Sasha has done really cool editorials. Here is an example :P This one belongs to Interview's issue of this month. I love it, in fact the first pic is my wallpaper. We can see a lot of SS2010... Prada sunnies or the fabolous see-through Prada sandals -that I wouldnt wear myself but they actually look good in shoots- and those not so fabolous LV -that I wouldnt wear myself under any circunstance and no, they dont even look good in pictures Marc-. Oh and forgot to mention, great work by my beloved Craig Mcdean.

No es una de mis modelos favoritas, pero Sasha ha hecho editoriales muy chulas. He aquí un ejemplo :P Esta pertenece al número de este mes de Interview. La primera foto es mi fondo de pantalla de hecho. Podemos ver mucho de P-V 2010... Gafas de Prada o las fabulosas sandalias transparentes de Prada también -que yo no me pondría pero quedan bien en las fotos- y esos no tan fabulosos de LV -que yo no me pondría bajo ninguna circunstancia y no, no quedan bien ni en fotos Marc-. Y se me olvida decir que es obra de mi amado Craig Mcdean.
